How do I change the line voltage setting on a Keithley Model 6517B?

1. Make sure the instrument is turned off and unplugged. 
2. Carefully take out the fuse housing (above the power cord input) by opening the tabs on both sides. 
3. Switch out the fuses in the fuse housing for the appropriate fuses for your line voltage setting.

How do I get the trigger time (timestamp) from my scope?

When a waveform is acquired on the DPO/DSA/MSO 5K 7K 70K Series oscilloscopes, the scope records a timestamp of when it was triggered to acquire that waveform.  However, fetching the value of this timestamp is not always so obvious.

How do I source a 500ns 5 amp pulse on a Keithley Model 2520?

1. Set PW(Pulse Width) to 0000.5 uS. 
2. Set DELAY to 000.10 mS. 
3. Set TRIG COUNT to CONTINUOUS-PULSE or INFINITE. 
4. For a single pulse set INIT to OFF. For multiple pulses set INIT to ON. 
5. Set TRIGGER to appropriate event( IMMEDIATE, MANUAL, etc.).
